Working with me…
I am here to help you find where to begin. Finally, learn how to calm your mind, slow down, approach the things you’ve been avoiding and build the skills needed to cope with this modern world.
Don’t you want to be able to let go of the burden of trying to control things? To stop avoiding things out of fear? Doing things you don’t want to do because of guilt? Together, we will help you learn to build inner trust, healthy confidence, and embrace your true self and uniqueness.
For years, I have provided virtual therapy sessions to my clients. The straightforward steps I use help you move forward and are consistently successful. I like things that work. I’ll teach you how to change your brain using your mind, with proven scientific methods — in plain English.
Honest, transformational, and informative conversations await. I offer change by sharing what people need to hear; that’s how I help. I’ll challenge you with non-judgmental compassion. But nothing grows in the comfort zone. Come as you are, and my job is to find the delicate balance between knowing when to push you and when to offer acceptance. The middle path — that is the art of my therapy practice.
I’ve been in clinical practice since 2005. My graduate internship was at a rural community mental health clinic. I have worked in substance use disorder treatment programs, first working with teens and families, then later running intensive outpatient groups with adults in southeast Portland.
I enjoyed working at Western Psychological & Counseling Services from 2008 to 2021. While there, I created and facilitated two mindfulness skills training classes: Mindfulness Essentials and an advanced group, Mindfulness Essentials: Deepen.
I’ve earned two degrees in the field of psychology:
M.A. of Marriage and Family Therapy, George Fox University
B.A. in Psychology, Central Washington University
My graduate clinical project was the therapeutic application of mindfulness in clinical practice.
And from 2021 to 2024, I continued to see my clients completely online via telehealth at LifeStance Health.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, music, meditation, gardening, cooking, podcasts, and travel.

I believe we should follow the instinctual ways of nature. Helping you use your intuitive inner wisdom to listen. Then you will become attuned again, your path will become clear.
Treatment will be drawing from mindfulness and compassion practices, positive psychology, and insights from neuroscience. I combine the effective interventions of dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), internal family systems (IFS), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to create a unique healing process.
My style is direct and active in therapy sessions.
